Bicycle Commuting

Bicycle Commuting will have great benefits for you. Go to work by bicycle. Leave your car at home. No more noise, smell and stress. Who wants that?

Get your electric bike out and ride with a buddy to work. You will get there relaxed and you will save a lot of money on petrol in the long run, while having done your workout at the same time. Pedaling is keeping you fit, yes.

My Calculation

Public transport = Cost $1200.- a year

Electric Bicycle
20 battery charges per month for 5 cents each = $1.-
1.- x 12 months = $12.- per year
Savings:

1200.- minus 12.- = $1188.- per year

Okay I have to deduct some amount, let's say $150.- yearly, to get a new battery every 3 years or so...but still I save a lot.

When I go short distance shopping I use my electric bicycle as well. This saves a lot of money on petrol in the long run. I will use this to pay for some repairs that gets done at my bike sooner or later.

Don't think of bikes as a child's toy. Those times are over. Electric bicycles are good for society. Just imagine thousands would leave their cars at home and take the bike to get to work. This would be a revolution. The revolution has begun.

Especially in China there are a lot more people going to work by bike. Part of the reason is that most of them have no money to buy a car as they get much lower wages compared to the wages in Europe or the USA.
