Electric Bicycle Motors will change the Way We look at Bicycles
Modern electric bicycle motors are assisting the rider who in most cases still uses pedals which are supported by the motor.
The electric bicycles are the answer to increasing traffic congestion.

The electric motor is the heart of the electric bicycle, tricycle or e-scooter and it has revolutionized the bicycle and raises different issues.
Insurance?
What happens if an electric-bicycle-rider hits another rider and injures him or injures a pedestrian. What happens if he hits a motor vehicle? In view of the fact that there is no insurance on the electric bicycle, who is liable?
These questions will arise all over the world as electric bicycles are becoming more popular worldwide everyday and are still outside most regulations. This will force government bodies to establish new rules. In any case e-bike users should know the traffic rules and it seems to be advisable that they should make a test to prove this.
E Bike Motors can be fast
Popular with all Ages
E-bikes are bought by all sorts of people, young folks, middle-aged and seniors and people with disabilities. The interest and demand in e-bikes is growing strongly year after year. People with back surgery can use them and experience a new sense of freedom.
Prices
For a price between $800 and $2,000 you get anything ranging from an e-bike, e-scooter to an e-tricycle. You can get e-mountain bikes as well, having removable lithium batteries. Ultimately you get e-tricycles for storage and transportation, but many people buy them for having fun.
Battery range is about 60 kilometers and battery charging time just around 5-6 hours.
E-bikes have to follow the same rules as cyclists. When going slower than the rest of traffic, you should stay as close to the right edge of the road as is safe and possible. If it is unsafe then riders are allowed to use the full lane. Don't ever remove the pedals or the governor to increase speed or you get fined!
If your bike exceeds 32 km/h it is treated as a road vehicle that needs a license and an insurance.
Obey the Rules
Don't ride on sidewalks and stop at red lights!
It is not allowed to drive the wrong way on a one-way street.
Don't use them on trails
Don't ride while being drunk or on drugs!
Number of Penalties are rising
The number of penalties are rising as e-bikes become more popular every year. Get and read the traffic rules before you get one. 12-year-olds are not allowed to ride at 32 kilometers per hour. Don't make it faster by removing the governor as this will reduce the battery range as well. Keep in mind that it is still a bicycle and not a motorcycle for which you need a license. If you want to go faster then make the license and get a motorcycle.
