Girls on Bicycles

Girls on Bicycles are seen not as frequent as men. Cycling is done mostly by men and often women don't feel as comfortable riding a bike. If riding a bicycle would appear to be more "attractive", more women will ride a bike. This is not the case in Amsterdam where bicycles are often used by women as well.

Dutch people have a very healthy bicycle culture and are not so reliant on Arab oil. If you go around in Amsterdam you will notice the lack of noise. Traffic in big cities is loud and you learn to live with it, but when you go to a place like Amsterdam you hear the difference.
